Listing criteria

05 / ELIGIBILITY
CRITERION
01

Reachable fulfillment of record

A verifiable shipping address of record — US, EU, UK, Swiss, Australian, or other jurisdictions are all in scope. What matters is that we can purchase anonymously through your normal retail channel and take delivery under a chain of custody we can document. International suppliers shipping into our lab jurisdictions are welcome.

CRITERION
02

Research-use posture

Products sold explicitly for research use. Sites that market directly to human consumers, or that use therapeutic language in product pages, are out of scope regardless of test outcomes.

CRITERION
03

Batch-specific COAs

Publish third-party COAs that match a specific lot/batch, with a named analytical lab. Self-attested "in-house" testing does not meet the bar.

CRITERION
04

Clean compliance history

No active federal prosecution, no recent voluntary shutdown for regulatory cause, no documented data-falsification history of ownership.

CRITERION
05

Functional customer-service channel

A reachable contact (phone, email, or ticketed support) that responds within a week. We will attempt to contact you via the listed channel before publication.

§ 02

Golden Sample program

TRANSPARENCY

The Golden Sample program is an optional second track — separate from the blind testing that drives your leaderboard rank. Vendors who opt in ship us a sample directly, we film the unboxing end-to-end, and we test it at the same lab under the same thresholds. The result is published as its own entry on your supplier page, alongside a standalone Golden vs Blind delta when we have both.

The value to a vendor with clean operations is real: a small or zero delta on a peptide where we've blind-purchased and golden-sampled both is the cleanest public signal you can buy. And you cannot buy it — you can only earn it by having consistent material. That's the whole point.

G-01

Blind samples set the ranking

Your supplier-leaderboard position is determined entirely by blind-purchased samples we buy anonymously. Golden-sample participation cannot move your ranking up or down, and we publish this rule on every vendor page.

G-02

We pick the peptide

When you enroll, we request a specific peptide from your current catalog. You do not get to ship us your best SKU. If you refuse the requested peptide, you do not lose ranking — the golden-sample entry just does not happen.

G-03

Video unboxing is raw and uncut

We film and publish the unboxing end-to-end with no edits. Your packaging, placards, batch cards, printed COA, and anything else in the box gets catalogued publicly.

G-04

Same lab, same thresholds

Golden samples are tested at the same analytical lab and under the same pass/fail thresholds as blind samples. No special treatment.

G-05

The delta is public

If we have both a blind-purchase and a golden-sample assay of the same peptide, we publish the purity delta (golden - blind) as a standalone field on your supplier page. A small delta is the signal you want.

G-06

Free. No paid placement. Ever.

There is no signup fee, no listing fee, no pay-to-play. Editorial independence is the product.

How to apply

INTAKE

Send a single email to hello@openassay.org with subject line Supplier application — [your company name]. In the body, include:

  • Company legal name and primary domain.
  • Primary shipping address of record and country/jurisdiction.
  • A representative third-party COA link (batch-specific, named lab). If your COAs are behind a customer portal, describe the access flow.
  • Brief statement of your research-use posture — who you sell to, what marketing language you use, any categories you exclude.
  • Whether you want to be considered for the Golden Sample program. (Optional — not required for a basic listing.)
  • A primary contact (name, title, email) we can reach for follow-ups and remediation of any future published failures.

We aim to acknowledge applications within five business days. Review and first publication typically take three to eight weeks and include at least one blind purchase.

What application does not do
  • It does not guarantee a listing on the leaderboard.
  • It does not move your ranking. Blind samples do.
  • It does not entitle you to preview, edit, or remove a published result.
  • It does not create an affiliate relationship. Affiliate relationships, where they exist, are negotiated separately and disclosed per FTC guidance on every page where they appear.
  • It does not obligate us to publish anything. If our review surfaces material that violates listing criteria, we pass.
